Toilet tank lids and tanks are model-specific. Do not order by appearance or color alone. Find the number inside your toilet tank or on the underside of your lid. This is the best starting point.

Please send these 4 photos if possible:

  • 1. Inside the tank showing every number and brand mark
  • 2. Underside of the old or broken lid
  • 3. Tank opening photographed straight down / straight on
  • 4. Full toilet and tank so I can see the overall shape

Also include the widest left-to-right and front-to-back measurements, plus the color if you know it. Natural-light photos help with white, bone, biscuit, almond, and other close colors.

What to Check

  1. Brand: Look for American Standard, Kohler, Gerber, Glacier Bay, TOTO, Niagara, or another manufacturer name.
  2. Tank number: Photograph every stamped, molded, or printed number inside the tank.
  3. Old lid number: Check the underside of the broken or existing lid.
  4. Measurements: Measure the old lid itself and the tank opening at their widest left-to-right and front-to-back points.
  5. Shape: Take a straight-on photo of the tank opening and clear photos of the top and underside of the old lid.
  6. Color: Photograph the ceramic in natural light. White, bone, biscuit, linen, and almond are not interchangeable names across every brand.
  7. For complete tanks: Include the full model suffix, mounting-hole pattern, flush rate, and whether the handle is on the left or right when facing the toilet.
