This website is operated by FixALid. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to FixALid.

By visiting FixALid.com, purchasing a product, or otherwise using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before using the website or placing an order.

Products and Used Condition

FixALid specializes primarily in replacement toilet tank lids, including discontinued, vintage, used, and hard-to-find plumbing parts.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, products may be used original parts and may show normal signs of previous use and age. These may include minor scratches, marks, mineral staining, discoloration, glaze variations, manufacturing imperfections, or other cosmetic wear.

We make reasonable efforts to photograph and describe significant chips, cracks, repairs, or other defects.

Because many of the products we sell are older ceramic or vitreous-china components, minor variations in dimensions, shape, glaze, and color may occur.

Fitment and Compatibility

Toilet tank lids are model-specific and are not universally interchangeable.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the product description, manufacturer, tank number, lid or part number, measurements, color, photographs, and compatibility information before purchasing.

Measurements and compatibility information are provided as identification aids and may be approximate.

When available, customers should compare:

Numbers stamped or molded inside the toilet tank
Numbers found on the underside of the existing lid
Tank opening measurements
Lid measurements
Overall shape and mounting configuration
Color or finish

If you are uncertain whether a lid will fit, we strongly recommend contacting FixALid before ordering and providing photographs and measurements.

Compatibility references to other manufacturers, model numbers, or part numbers are provided for identification purposes.

Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product titles, specifications, compatibility information, photographs, pricing, and descriptions are accurate.

Because FixALid deals with older and discontinued plumbing products, historical manufacturer information can sometimes be incomplete or inconsistent.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update product information without prior notice.

Colors

Colors displayed on computer screens and mobile devices can vary.

Names such as White, Bone, Biscuit, Almond, Fawn, Pink, and similar descriptions are provided to help identify products, but color names and shades have varied between manufacturers and production years.

We cannot guarantee that the color displayed on your screen will exactly match your toilet.

Availability and Inventory

Many FixALid products are discontinued parts with limited inventory, and some products may be one-of-a-kind.

Adding a product to your cart does not permanently reserve the item until checkout is completed.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, cancel an order when inventory is unavailable, or correct an inventory error. If we cancel an order because an item is unavailable, the applicable payment will be refunded.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without notice.

Applicable taxes, shipping costs, and other charges will be displayed during checkout when required.

Orders are not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and the order has been accepted by FixALid.

Shipping

Orders are shipped according to the shipping options and estimated delivery information presented during checkout.

Delivery estimates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

FixALid is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, severe weather, incorrect addresses supplied by customers, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are governed by the FixALid Return and Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service.

Unless otherwise specified in that policy, return eligibility depends on the condition of the returned item and compliance with the applicable return period and requirements.

Customers should inspect shipments promptly after delivery.

Damaged Shipments

Ceramic toilet tank lids are fragile.

If an order arrives damaged, please contact FixALid as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs of:

The damaged product
The shipping box
Internal packaging
Shipping label

Please retain all packaging until the claim or refund process is complete.

Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled before fulfillment when cancellation is still possible.

Once an order has been packed, shipped, or transferred to the carrier, it may need to be handled through the applicable return process instead.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use FixALid.com or its content for unlawful purposes, fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, malicious software distribution, interference with website operation, infringement of intellectual property rights, or activities prohibited by applicable law.

We strive to provide accurate information regarding discontinued and replacement plumbing parts, but we do not guarantee that every product will fit every toilet associated with a similar-looking model or part.

The customer remains responsible for confirming compatibility before installation or use.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FixALid is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from an incorrect product selection, installation, modification, or use.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
