AquaSource and Project Source toilet searches are especially prone to number confusion because a retailer item number and a toilet model number can both appear in documentation for the same fixture. When replacing only the porcelain tank lid, keep every identifier until you have confirmed the physical part.
Item number and model number can be different
A clear AquaSource example appears in Lowe’s product records: Item #98923 is identified as Model #AT1203-00. Those are two different searchable identifiers attached to the same toilet listing.
Project Source listings use the same general retailer pattern. For example, Lowe’s identifies one Project Source toilet as Item #12293 and Model T-803. That does not mean unrelated AquaSource and Project Source lids interchange. It means buyers should search both the retailer item number and the actual model number when those are available.
Search all verified versions of the number
If the tank shows a model such as AT1203-00, search that exact string and useful formatting variants such as AT120300. If paperwork shows a retailer item number, search that too. Then compare the result to the tank and lid rather than ordering from the number alone.
Do not assume two retailer brands use the same lid
AquaSource and Project Source names may appear together in replacement-part searches, but compatibility has to be established at the specific model level. The tank opening, underside lip and flush-button configuration still have to match.

98923 is another reason to check the exact version

Confirm flush style and underside shape
Before ordering, verify whether the lid is solid or has an opening for a top-mounted flush button. Measure width and depth, photograph the top and underside, and compare the inner rim. A dual-flush opening or different underside geometry can rule out an otherwise similar-looking lid immediately.
